Hello, I’m Polly.
Small businesses are the backbone of every high street and local community in the UK — and most of them aren't being served well by their website, if they have one at all.
Either it was thrown together quickly and never touched again. Or it looks fine on a desktop but falls apart on a phone. Or it simply doesn't show up when someone searches for what the business does. Often, it's all three.
I help small businesses look as good online as they do in person.
That’s the gap I work in.
I build clean, professional, SEO-optimised websites for small businesses and local service providers — sites that are compliant with UK regulations, fast to load, easy to navigate, and built to convert visitors into customers. No bloat, no unnecessary complexity, no ongoing headaches.
I work with a small number of clients at a time, which means when you're one of them, you get my full attention. You'll always know what's happening, where we are in the process, and when things will be ready.
How I work
A website project shouldn't feel like a mystery. Here's exactly how working together looks, from our first conversation through to launch and beyond — so you always know what's happening and when.
-
We start with a relaxed, no-obligation conversation about your business, what you need, and what you're hoping your website will achieve. No jargon, no pressure — just an honest chat.
-
I'll put together a clear proposal covering exactly what's included, your timeline, and your price — so you know what to expect before anything is agreed.
-
Once you're happy to go ahead, I'll send a short questionnaire to get to know your business properly, and gather everything I need from you — text, images, logo, and any ideas you have
-
This is where the work happens. I'll design and build your site, keeping you updated along the way, and send you a first draft to review with plenty of room for revisions.
-
Once you're happy with everything, your site goes live. You'll get a period of free support afterwards, and the option of an ongoing care plan if you'd like someone keeping an eye on things long-term.
