Etch Lane is committed to making this website accessible and easy to use for everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe good design should work for all users, and we take that seriously in how we build and maintain this site.

Our approach

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA — the recognised standard for web accessibility in the UK. In practice, this means we work to ensure that:

— Text is readable and has sufficient contrast against background colours
— All images have descriptive alternative text so screen readers can interpret them
— The website can be navigated using a keyboard alone, without a mouse
— Pages are structured with clear, logical headings so assistive technologies can follow them
— Forms include clearly labelled fields so they are easy to complete
— The site works correctly when text is resized up to 200%
— No content flashes or moves in a way that could trigger seizures

Known limitations

We are a small, independently operated business and we are continuously working to improve accessibility across the site. There may be areas where we fall short of the WCAG 2.1 AA standard. If you encounter any accessibility barriers while using this website, we would genuinely like to know about them.
